The Honda CBR 200 will come with a sporty and sleek design inspired by its siblings from the CBR series. It will come with a fully faired design with sharp body panels and sporty graphics. This sports bike is expected to use the same lightweight & compact diamond-type steel frame that Honda uses on its other 200cc bikes. It will be equipped with inverted forks at the front end and a mono-shock absorber with adjustable preload at the rear end. The Honda CBR 200 will be fitted with a 276 mm petal disc brake on the front wheel and a 220 mm petal disc brake on the rear wheel. It will also get a single-channel Anti-lock braking system like the soon-to-launch Royal Enfield 200cc.

This sports bike will be powered by a 184.4 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC engine. Honda CBR 200 will be able to produce 17.2 PS power at 8,500 rpm and 16.1 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm. It will use a programmed fuel-injection system that will ensure smooth acceleration and better fuel economy. Most likely it will get a 5-speed gearbox which may hinder its top-end performance. The Honda CBR 200 will deliver a solid mid-range performance making it a perfect sports bike for city rides. It will feature a fully-digital LCD instrument console like the Pulsar NS 220.
